Comme des Garcons Series 1: Leaves

As you probably know by now, Comme des Garcons doesn’t march to the beat of anyone’s drum; they fling the drum in the fire and dance on the ashes. That’s been the MO since its inception, a stance clearly displayed in the first of the ongoing “Series” scents, Leaves. From crisp mint to Asian spice, smoky black tea, milky green bamboo leaves and tart, green lilies, this series swings wildly from one scent to the next, all the while keeping close to its “leaves” concept. The scent of your fingers after you’ve been picking stems and the verdant juice clings to your skin. Calamus is gentle and almost milky, a jumble of young leaves still sweet in their unfurled glory.
