The top notes are bracing and cool; the heart displays a prominent, sweet anise note and is as forceful and passionate as the little dictator himself must have been. The drydown of Eau de Gloire is dark and slightly smoky, with notes of sweet tobacco, incense and a very attractive leathery undertone.
